Commercial electrical,
built to last.

Family-owned commercial electrical contractor serving San Jose and the South Bay. Panel upgrades, EV chargers, three-phase work, and 24/7 emergency response.

Our story

Two scopes,
one standard.

Monte Power & Electric is one half of a family-owned operation in San Jose. The electrical side handles wiring, panel work, EV charging, three-phase motor systems, and emergency response. The build side handles construction, ADUs, and commercial tenant improvements. Two scopes, one vendor relationship, one standard of work.

Two journeymen and two master electricians on staff. Non-union. Code-current with annual revision tracking. Licensed C-10. Carrying $2M in general liability coverage on every job. The kind of crew property managers shortlist for vendor lists and homeowners recommend to neighbors.

What we believe

How we show up
to work.

Three principles that decide how the work gets done, who picks up the phone at two in the morning, and what kind of business we're trying to build.

  • M

    Mission

Deliver code-clean electrical work that property managers trust and homeowners depend on. Day or night, commercial or residential, across the South Bay.

  • V

    Vision

Become the South Bay's most reliable commercial electrical partner. Built one panel, one EV charger, one emergency call at a time.

  • Values

Show up. Get it right. Stay current. Build trust. The four words that decide who picks up the phone at two in the morning.

How we work

From scope
to sign-off.

Five steps from the first call to a closed permit. Same process for a residential panel and a 1,600-amp commercial main. The crew that runs the install runs the paperwork.

  1. 01

    Scope

On-site walk or video call. Load calculation, code review, AHJ check, and site photos. No charge.

  2. 02

    Quote

Itemized quote within one business day. Permit, materials, labor, and PG&E coordination broken out line by line.

  3. 03

    Permit

We pull the permit, schedule the AHJ, and coordinate with PG&E for service-entrance work. You don't fill out a form.

  4. 04

    Install

Install on the agreed date. Site cleaned at end of day. Daily check-ins on multi-day jobs.

  5. 05

    Inspect

Final inspection scheduled with the AHJ. Sign-off, photos, and warranty paperwork delivered.
